Do you know the history of your favorite toys? You might be surprised at some of the historical links that you find. Some of the most iconic symbols of BDSM come from some very interesting places.
Take the St Andrew’s cross for example.
It has been said that the very existence of this iconic piece of joy and bondage was in fact created at the request of St Andrew himself while awaiting crucifixion by the Romans in the year 69 AD. It was said that because he did not feel worthy to be crucified on the same style of cross that Jesus was, he therefore steadfastly demanded another type of cross be used.
St Andrew went on to become the Patron saint of Scotland and the cross given his name for all time is still used today ( though not for its original purpose). Over time it became a symbol of both Heretics and religious leaders. It can still be seen still today in many forms. The original flag of Scotland is the St Andrews cross and it can also be seen as the two crossing keys of the Papal flag today.

Stu Yes my knowledge of toys is very god and ever evolving. I enjoy finding out the true history of them and using that to test my slaves ability to pay attention. You need work, however getting to be near my toys is a goal I am sure we attain in time.
